Kombucha Tea

There's a lot of very detailed and fascinating information out there on Ye Olde Interwebs about making your own kombucha at home, so I won't repeat it all here. I just finished making my first batch, and am enjoying the results - a little fizzy, kind of peachy...that's without any flavoring added or any extra 'fizz' fermentation on the counter. This batch took 18 days to get to my taste r.e. sweetness/tartness...we'll see how long my new batch takes. Most of batch #1 is now doing a second, bottled fermentation on the counter, with some blueberries and raspberries thrown in.

This is dead easy! Really! If you know someone making kombucha, ask them for a 'baby', then try it for yourself. Here's the instructions I was given with mine, with my own notes added!
