Salty Chocolate Balls (a South Park homage to a quick power snack)

...really, what else could I possibly call these?

These snacks are packed chock-full of many healthy ingredients, great to have on hand in the fridge for when snack cravings hit, or in your bag for energy on the go, or to eat for breakfast!

You can sub in different dried fruits, seeds, nut butter, etc - just make sure you keep the proportions the same and you'll be fine.

*This version is not quite raw - the peanut butter uses roasted nuts. I am labeling it raw anyway because you could easily substitute a raw nut butter for the peanut butter.

Salty Chocolate Balls

1/2 cup sunflower seeds, roughly chopped (you can do this in a food processor, coffee grinder, or by hand)
1/8 cup hemp seeds
1/8 cup pumpkin seeds
1/8 cup sprouted chia seed powder
1/2 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup dried banana pieces (not banana chips...the pieces are chewy), soaked 15 minutes then chopped
1/4 cup raisins, soaked
1/4 cup mulberries, soaked
1 tbsp vanilla bean powder (vanilla extract would be okay too!)
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 tbsp agave syrup
1/4 cup cacao powder or cocoa powder
pinch of salt

Combine everything in a large bowl and mix well with your hands until you can form the mixture into balls. That is all.

(keep in a covered container in the fridge - they should last a long time...depends how quickly you eat them up!)
